Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Louise Dixon will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 2:00PM. Location: Jones Chapel CME Church 19233 Highway 242 Bartow, Georgia. Pastor Leonard Vining will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Louise (Robinson) Dixon was born to the parentage of the late Eugene and Ola Mae Robinson, on July 1, 1932.Louise was educated in the public school system of Washington County, Georgia. Louise was brought up in her earlier years in the family’s church, Jones Chapel C.M.E Church, of Bartow, Georgia. Louise migrated to Long Beach, California, and became a loyal member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where she served until her relocation to the East Coast.
Louise was employed in the Health Care Industry for many years. Upon her migration to Long Beach, California, she married Mr. Lonnie Dixon in 1988 in Long Beach, California.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Ms. Eugene Robinson; her husband, Lonnie Dixon; seven brothers: Willie, Walter, Frank, Paul, Remus, Alvin, and Verlon Robinson; and two sisters: Willa Jean Hicks and Corine Daniels.
Louise leaves to mourn two sisters: Ms. Betty J. Tarver of Dublin, Georgia and Ms. Mary L. Hicks-Coston of Stockbridge, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Quincy Robinson of Bartow, Georgia.; two aunts: Ms. Ann Jones of Miami, Florida and Ms. Mary Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida; a horde of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
