Mackell (Padgett) Byars

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Mackell Byars will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 2:00PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street Dublin, Georgia. Interment will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kendrick K. Mack will serve as eulogist.

Mrs. Byars was born June 7, 1938, in Dublin, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. J.L “Mack” Padgett. Mackell was known was a well-known cosmetologist, where she served her community for many years.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L “Mack” Padgett and Ola Howell Padgett; siblings, Bill Padgett, Sam Padgett, Harvey Padgett, Nellie Padgett, Margorie Padgett and Ruby Padgett.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Deano Byars and Janet Byars Flanders; grandchildren, Cameron Carrier, Jino Carrier and Ciara Webb, one sister, Doris Padgett Dent and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held November 11, 2024, at 1:00PM.
