Margarette Chaney

Margarette B. Chaney was born on October 4th 1947 in Savannah, GA to the late Alonza Chaney and and Annie Mae Fripp Chaney.

She grew up in Savannah Georgia and loved her hometown. Once she graduated from high school she joined the job core then settled in New Jersey. In New Jersey she began a career path in medical records. A field in which she worked for 50 years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Annie and Alonza, daughter Belina Chaney, sisters Deborah Childs, Josie Brown, Mildred Farmer and brother Alonza Chaney.

The memory of Margarette Chaney will forever be cherished and missed by her loving daughter Selina LeGrand-Patterson of Painfield, New Jersey; Sisters Evelyn D. Curry, Juanita (Clarence) Outler, Brothers Michael Chaney and Father Robert E. Chaney of Savannah Georgia; Edward (Deborah) Chaney of Virginia; Ronald Chaney of Jacksonville, Florida; Anthony Chaney of the Bronx, NY; two grandchildren Brandon and Ashleigh Patterson and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
