Martha Kay (Watson) Watson

Celebration of Life Services for Ms. Martha Kay Watson, 67, of Eastman, Georgia will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, at 2:00PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street-Dublin. Interment will follow at Sun Hill Cemetery in Cadwell, Georgia. Dr. George Fluellen will serve as eulogist.  

Martha Kay Watson was born March 1, 1958, to the late George Watson, Jr. of the Plainfield Community and Mrs. Laura Watson. She was a member of Welcome Friend Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Dodge County High School and Georgia State University of Milledgeville, Georgia.  She retired as a Social Worker from the Department of Family and Children Services after 30 years of faithful service.

Martha is survived by her dearly beloved mother, Mrs. Laura Watson; siblings, Alma Jean Watson of Eastman, Georgia, George Edward (Margo) Watson of Eastman, Georgia, Moses Watson of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Stacy Bernard (Gloria) Watson of Richmond Hill, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Gregory  (Gayle) Watson of White Plains, New York, Nathan Watson of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Lametra (Kimmy) Davis of Eastman, Georgia, Erica (O.J) Hall of Dublin, Georgia and Adelyn Laura Watson of Richmond Hill, Georgia; great nieces and great nephews, Kayla, Jazmine, Destiny, Janay, Mya, Morgan, Gabriela, Gia, Gerard (Angie) and Gregory; one great-great-nephew, D.J and a host of cousins and other relatives.

The family will receive friends at the home of her brother George (Margo) Watson.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 1:00PM followed by the Celebration of Life Services.
