Graveside Services for Mrs. Mary Josephine Garnto will be held on December 19, 2025, at 1:00PM. Location – 1750 Mark Wood Road Rentz, Georgia 31075. Rev. Greg Alligood will serve as eulogist.

 Mary Josephine Garnto, 85, of Rentz, Georgia transitioned into her Heavenly home on December 17, 2025. On August 24, 1940, she was born to the union of Calvin and Ruby Bryan.

Mary was an employee of Allen-Bradley where she was an assembler for many years. In her time alone, Mrs. Mary loved to read a book by her favorite author, Danielle Steel. She enjoyed indulging in her favorite snacks, chocolate covered cherries and chocolate ice cream. Mary loved her family and enjoyed every minute she was allowed to spend with them. She was truly an avid collector of items that she was fond of.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Lowey Bryan; father, Calvin Bryan; brother, Richard Bryan; and her sister, Leoma Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 45 years, Alan Garnto; daughters: Wanda Joe (Ronnie) Dixon and Sondra (Billy) Evans; grandchildren: Michelle (Bobby) Hall, Mandy Dixon, Lindsey Evans, and Brittany Evans; her sisters: Jewel Lowery and Carol Cook and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives.
