Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary L. Mitchell will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00PM. Location: The Church at Dudley 3388 US Highway 80 West, Dudley. Pastor Kenneth Price will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Mt. Tilla Baptist Church Cemetery 2424 Highway 441 North, Irwinton, Georgia.
Mary Lee Robinson Mitchell of Dexter, Georgia was born on June 8, 1932, to the late Robert and Sarah Robinson. She was called into eternal rest on November 23, 2022.
Mrs. Mitchell is preceded in death by siblings, James Robinson, Mike “Skit” Robinson, Friendly Robinson, Ira “Duke” Robinson, Bud Robinson, Emma Whipple, Mamie Lou Stuckey, and Rosa Lee Robinson; husband, Howard Mitchell; sons, Ezzard Mitchell and Ronnie Mitchell, and a granddaughter, Quenyatt Mitchell.
She leaves behind seven children: Mary Helen Harvey (Grovetown, GA), Maevonia “Debbie” Mitchell (Dublin, GA), Larry Lee Mitchell (Dublin, GA), Donnie Mitchell (Allentown, GA), Willie Girtman, Jr. (Dublin, GA), Estella (Wayne) Lowery (Rentz, GA), and Richie Girtman (Dublin, GA); along with 28 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She loved church, her family, fishing, the outdoors, and gardening.
Mary was a member of Mt. Tilla Baptist Church in Irwinton, GA. She furthered her ministry by devoting her time on the usher committee at Brown Hill Baptist Church in Cary, GA for many years.
Mary was an employee of Allen Bradley in Dublin, GA for 21 plus years until she decided to retire in the late 90s. After retirement she decided to be a full-time nanny for Neil and Tyna Lord in Dudley, GA by caring for their younger daughter, Lilly Grace Lord.

Public Viewing will be held Sunday, November 27, from 2:00-7:00PM at the funeral home.
