Michael Stacey Boyt

Michael Stacey Boyt, 65, was born on December 27, 1958, to the parentage of Earnest L. Boyt and Grace Goolsby in the city of Thomaston, Georgia. He later moved to Dublin, Georgia where he resided until the time of his passing.

Mr. Boyt transitioned into his Heavenly home in Bibb County, Georgia at the Atrium Health Navicent Hospital. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Michael was proceeded in death by his father, Earnest L. Boyt, his mother, Grace Goolsby, and brother, David Boyt.

He accepted Christ and attended both Calvary Baptist Church and Liberty Baptist Church. He was employed by Woody Lumber Company where he labored as a lumber foreman for many years. Alongside his lumber work, Michael enjoyed fishing, working with tools, and carpentry. He also had an intriguing passion for cars.

Michael’s beautiful life will always be cherished by his son, Shane (Tasha) Boyt of Dublin, Georgia and his daughter Kellie (Kason) Rowland of Ledyard, Connecticut; grandchildren, Kayla Boyt, Shane Boyt Jr., Savannah (Chase) Garner, and Xylei Rowland; and great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Ryver, and Willow
