Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Mona Lynn Carr will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 10:00AM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home Chapel - 414 Telfair Street Dublin, Georgia 31021. Minister Phillip Brown will serve as eulogist.
Mona Lynn Carr, 54, of East Dublin, Georgia was born on April 19, 1971, in Ft. Madison, Iowa to the parentage of Robert and Mary Ann Colvin. She passed away on January 26, 2026, surrounded by love.
Mona was married to her beloved husband, Barry Roger Carr, with whom she shared her life and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert D. Colvin and Mary Ann Ireland Colvin.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Hannah (Robert) Lyle and Trey Dean; her stepdaughters, Rebecca Carr and Kayleen Kennedy; and her five cherished grandchildren, Leah Lyle, Luke Lyle, Marley Winfield, Hendrix Winfield, and Nyla Kennedy. Mona is also survived by her siblings, Jeffery (Barbra) Colvin and Scott Colvin, along with extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Mona worked faithfully as a Kitchen Aide at Fairview Park Hospital, where she was known for her dedication and warm presence. She attended Lighthouse Church of God, where she found comfort and fellowship.
In her free time, Mona enjoyed watching wrestling and keeping up with her favorite television show, The Young and the Restless. She found joy in the simple moments of life, especially time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Mona Lynn Carr will be remembered for her love of family, her hardworking spirit, and the many lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
