Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Phillip J. Mack will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00AM. Location: Springfield Baptist Church 256 Carolina Avenue Chester, Georgia 31012. Rev. Jarrett Northcutt will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Springfield-Burches Cemetery.
Mr. Phillip J. Mack, passed on August 9, 2025, was born on November 1, 1968, to Thelma Davis Mack and the late Argene Mack, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Davis and sister-in-law, Cassandra Davis; maternal grandmother, Pearline Davis; paternal grandparents, Pearlie Mack and Alton White; aunt, Sandra Godfrey; uncles, Charlie Fred Davis and George Davis.
He was employed at YKK as a Supervisor for many years and at Forstmann Company for many years.
He was a 1986 graduate of West Laurens High School. He continued his education and became a graduate of Heart of Georgia Technical College. He also served on the usher board at Springfield Baptist Church.
Mr. Mack is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Northcutt Mack and his children, Jarrett (Chandrea) Northcutt of Valdosta, Georgia and Jalen Mack of Tampa, Florida. Mr. Mack is also survived by his mother, Thelma Davis Mack of Montrose, Georgia; brother, Argene, Jr. (Laconiga) Mack of Warner Robins; grandchildren; Kiley Marshall, Trinity Northcutt and Chanan Northcutt; uncles, Billy ( Joyce) Davis, Walter Godfrey and Robert Davis of Chester, Georgia, Calvin Davis of Dublin, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Clinton) Mincey and Gwen Ivey of Eastman, Georgia, Shirley (Henry) Milton Mays of Fairburn, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Sylvester (Jada) Northcut, Wallace (Elizabeth) Northcut, Chris (Brenda) Northcut, William (Sabrina) Northcut, Timothy Northcut, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public viewing will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:00-7:00PM at the funeral home.
