Robert Eugene Sumner was born August 25, 1972, in Swainsboro, Geogia at Emanuel County Hospital to the parentage of Eddie Edward Sumner and Sandra Poole Sumner.

He transitioned into his eternal resting place on January 20, 2026.

He worked as a truck driver employed by R & H Truck Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Edward Sumner and Sandra Poole Sumner.

He is survived by his life partner, Dawn Rivers; son, Connor Sumner; brothers: Chris (Sheryl) Sumner, Bryan (Jeanine) Sumner, Tim (Wendy) Sumner, Randy (Wende) Sumner, Andy (Stacie) Sumner; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
