Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Sammy Wright, Jr. will be held Saturday, April 04, 2026, at 11:00AM at Second African Baptist Church 800 N. Decatur Street – Dublin. Pastor Korie Baker will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Northveiw Cemetery – Dublin.
Mr. Sammy Wright, Jr. was born on January 28, 1964, in Dublin, Georgia, to Sam and Retha Wright. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Leroy and Julia Wright, and Maxie Lee and Lucile Davis.
Sammy was employed with Mr. Chips Food Service in Macon, Georgia, where he worked as a forklift driver. He was known as a dedicated and dependable employee who took pride in his work. Sammy had a warm spirit and was truly one of a kind—always greeting others with a welcoming smile and his signature grin.
Above all, he was a devoted and loving father who deeply cherished his daughters and family.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his daughters: Nalley Wright, Tiffany Stanley, and Kendra Stanley; sisters, Lisa Wright and Carol (Jessie) Sailem, all of Dublin; grandsons, Quinton and Carter Edwards. He also leaves behind a host of loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
Public viewing will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, from 11:00-7:00PM.
