Funeral Services for Mr. Willie Earl Carr, Sr. will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12:00 Noon. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street, Dublin. Rev. Kendrick K. Mack will serve as eulogist.
Mr. Willie Earl Carr, Sr. passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 76.  Mr. Carr was born November 17, 1945, in Dublin, Georgia, to the late Ms. Della Mae Baums and Mr. Hiram Carr and Uncle and Aunt who raised him, Mr. Jimmie and Mrs. Rosa Carr.  Mr. Carr attended Millville High School and was a retired carpenter/contractor.
He was preceded in death by his four sisters, Eloise Holland, Bettie Myricks, Marie Bell, and Vanessa Morris; four brothers, Chester Robinson, Tommy Baums, Marshall Bell, and Olin Bell; devoted companion of 49 years, Ms. Willie Lee Carr; and their daughter, Vernessa Gale Carr.
He leaves to cherish his memories four children, Denise (Glenn) Whitehead, Patricia (Tyrone) Adams, Willie (Leeandra) Carr, Jr., Natalie (Ricky) Waters; siblings, John (Linda) Bell, Bennie (Vivian) Abrain, Jimmy Bell, Rosalyn (Larry) Sinkfield, Corine Rozier, and Marvin (Lucille) Bell; Henry Davis Sr. (close family friend); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Serenity Funeral Home, Dublin, has charge of arrangements.
