Zacharian Rodriguez Ellington

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Zacharian Rodriguez Ellington will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM at First African Baptist Church 405 Telfair Street- Dublin. Pastor Jonathan E. Lewis will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery 1225 North Franklin Street– Dublin, Georgia.

Mr. Zacharian Rodriguez Ellington was born on July 17, 1975, in Dublin, Georgia, to Margie Ann Blocker-Ashley and Rico Ellington, and was lovingly raised by his mother alongside his grandmother Ethel Kyler Spikes and stepfather, Fred Ashley, Jr. He passed away on December 15, 2025.

He was raised in and lived in Dublin, Georgia. Zacharian was an entrepreneur at heart, a man who believed in handling his own business and taking responsibility for his life and family. He was a devoted father who deeply loved his children, and he was unwavering in his love and care for his mother and grandmother, holding them close throughout his life. He especially cherished time spent enjoying their cooking and sharing meaningful moments together. He also shared a loving and meaningful relationship with his life partner, Tamika Keyaira. 

Zacharian was a dependable presence—the kind of person you could always count on. He was outgoing, kind, respectful to all, and known for his warm spirit. He enjoyed playing cards and valued the connections he made with others. He had a way of making people feel welcome and supported. Above all, he was a good person, whose love, loyalty, and character will be remembered by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Corey R. Ellington; his grandfathers, Henry Blocker, James Ellington, step-grandfather, Jay T. Hooks; grandmother Ethel Kyler Spikes; his aunt, Ruby D. Williams; and his uncles, Willie D. Spikes and Ricky Ellington.

Zacharian is survived by his children, Brearian Ellington of Statesboro, Georgia, Zakeithya Ellington of Tuskegee Alabama, Zaniya Ellington of Augusta Georgia, Victoria “Angel” Ellington of Dublin, Georgia and Zacharian Ellington Jr., of Dublin, Georgia; his mother, Margie Blocker-Ashley (Fred Ashley Jr.) of Dublin, Georgia; father, Rico Ellington of Seattle, Washington; his life partner, Tameka Keyaira of Dublin, Georgia; grandmother, Lydia Ellington of Dublin, Georgia; sister Courtney R. Blocker of Atlanta, Georgia; aunts Rosemary Snell, Ethel Wright, Felecia Blocker, Monica Blocker, Tammy Ellington, Bernadine Ellington, and Margo Ellington; uncles, Britt Ellington, Tracy Ellington, and Glynnis Ellington, all of Dublin, Georgia; nephews, Khalil Davis of Greenville, South Carolina, and Caleb L. Edwards and Easton Walden of Atlanta Georgia; a niece De’Asia Fripp of Milledgeville, Georgia; and numerous cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be held Friday, December 26, 2025, from 11:00AM -7:00PM at the funeral home.
